The Fountain

The Fountain is not just my favorite film this year. It has secured a position in my Top Ten of All Time. It is so brilliant and beautiful that it hurts my heart. It is not a science fiction film, it is not a drama...I'm not sure it has a category. It's just one of those films that comes along every 30 years or so and is so transcendent and so profound that it becomes timeless.
You will probably hear many ignorant pedestrians say it is boring and/or confusing. That's fine, movies like The Benchwarmers were made for those peeps.
